We are excited to announce the upcoming addition of behavioral health services to our offerings at Wellcome Care. Our dedicated and compassionate professionals are committed to providing comprehensive behavioral health to support individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress.
We recognize the importance of emotional well-being in overall health and are dedicated to offering a safe and supportive environment where individuals can receive the care they need. Our behavioral health services will include therapy, medication management, support groups, and resources to empower individuals on their journey towards mental wellness.

About Ms. Roberts
Sonja R. Roberts embodies a profound commitment to compassion and connection in her approach to behavioral health care. With over 25 years of dedicated experience spanning diverse populations from children to geriatrics, Sonja has cultivated a deep understanding of the unique challenges individuals face in their behavioral health journeys. During her years in professional practice, she has fostered the warm and empathetic environment she also brings to Wellcome Care, where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

Sonja's journey in behavioral health began with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders from the University at Buffalo, followed by her Master's degree in Social Work. Throughout her career, she has continuously pursued professional development, obtaining certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), among others.

Drawing from her extensive experience, Sonja has held various positions, including her current role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) at the New York State Office of Mental Health. In each role, she has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to providing compassionate and effective care and services to her clients.

At the core of Sonja's practice is her unwavering dedication to her patients' well-being. She prioritizes building authentic and trusting relationships, recognizing the importance of establishing a strong connection with each individual she serves. Sonja's patient-centered approach ensures that every aspect of her care is tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of her clients, empowering them to play an active role in their healing process.
